Windy City Hacks is TODAY!

We can’t wait to see you today at Windy City Hacks! Doors open today at 10:30am and the event starts at 12pm at Origami Risk in downtown Chicago (click for Google Maps directions).

You must bring:

A student or government ID. If you do not bring an ID, security will not let you into the venue. A school-issued student ID card will be sufficient for security!
A laptop + charger. We will provide a very limited supply of laptops for attendees who need them on a first come, first serve basis—if you are getting a loaner laptop, you must give us a deposit of your government ID. Again, that's a government ID, such as a driving permit, passport, citizenship card, etc. Alternatively, you can leave us with a credit card. We will return your deposit to you after you return your device without any damage or missing parts.
Your cell phone + charger. You must have a method for your parents to contact you and we will not be able to provide a charger if your phone dies. If you don’t have a phone, talk to an organizer day-of.
Signed liability waiver. We’re not allowed to let you in unless you (and your parent if you’re under 18) have this signed!

A sleeping bag and toiletries. We’ll have a designated sleeping area, but it’s up to you to bring your own supplies.
A power strip/USB hub if you’re bringing many devices with you. There are limited power outlets, and we can’t provide many extra strips.
A water bottle. We’ll have soda and limited bottled water, but plan to refill your water bottles at the sinks.

Windy City Hacks will be held at Origami Risk in downtown Chicago, which is located in the Loop next to the Chicago River. The address is: 222 N LaSalle St #2125.
For parking, we recommend that you reserve a parking spot through SpotHero. (It will be far cheaper!) Make sure to adjust the time to when you will arrive.
Doors are opening earlier now—10:30am!—and check-in ends at 11:50am. Please make sure to arrive during this window. Opening ceremony starts at 12pm.
